    • Testimonials

The following testimonials are provided by participants and agency representatives from a number of funded consulting and training interventions I facilitated on behalf of various government agencies and business support services.

      Michael Smith

Regional Local Area Manager - South West Victoria - Telstra Country Wide

Mark and the team at TRAC consulting were an integral part of the success of Caloundra City Enterprises. In particular, Mark drove a project called "Growing Creative Businesses" which he successfully delivered across the Sunshine Coast with great business improvement outcomes for all participants.

Mark is a true character - with a high level of passion and enthusiasm. A creative thought thinker, capable of following through on a project from conception to completion.

      Claire Hubbert

      VET Business/Management/HR Trainer and Consultant

I have known Mark and Jeanette at Trac Consulting since 2007, when they facilitated the government funded Women in Business course here in the Whitsundays. The six month course was hugely successful. The group has continued to grow and has been a much needed business support group in a small regional area. We have continued with many of initiatives that Mark and Jeanette taught us that inspired leadership and successful management practices.

Mark and Jeanette are now running another course here in the Whitsundays, the Small Business Online Program initiative by AusIndustry and The Australian Government. Again, I have been very fortunate to be a participant on this course. It is only through Mark and Jeanette’s passion for helping businesses improve that we have been able to tap into the wealth of knowledge that a proactive and professional consulting firm such as Trac Consulting can provide to small businesses in regional areas like the Whitsundays.

      Diane Epps FRCSA

Account Manager - Executive, Professional, Business Support - Talent Options, Australian Business Solutions Group

I had the pleasure of being a part of the Caloundra Futures Forum where Mark facilitated and lead a group of Sunshine Coast Business Leaders through detailed strategy and planning sessions. Mark and the team at TRAC consulting were an integral part of the success of this program and the key projects identified. One of these such projects was identifying the skills required to staff the new Hospital at Kawana which has resulted in the University of the Sunshine Coast backing the new Hospital with medical training required to staff the hospital. This will result in school leavers being able to take up relevant medical study courses on the Sunshine Coast and gain on the job training and employment on the Sunshine Coast (rather than leaving the coast) and ensuring their are no areas of skill shortages in staffing the Hospital.

Mark also managed and facilitated the "Growing Creative Businesses" project which he delivered across the entire Sunshine Coast region to mentor small business to ensure greatly improved business outcomes.

Without Mark's and TRAC's expertise these and other initiatives would never had come to fruition. I would thoroughly recommend Mark as a great facilitator and innovator who has the ability to help others stretch and to think outside the box uncovering their full potential and to gain extremely successful project and business outcomes.

      Michael Donovan

      iMentor Pro

I am happy to endorse Mark Jones and his company TRAC following our working together on a large piece of business involving training business-mentors for the SME sector across South East Queensland. The capabilities and capacity of Mark and his team at TRAC to deliver the program and assemble significant client interest across geographically dispersed regions was excellent. Also, TRAC applies innovative and easy-to-use portal technology to interface with remote clients and users.

The high client centric values applied by TRAC under Marks direction differentiate them from the run of the mill provider. The range of training options - from learning how to train better and adding value to courseware are also above average.

      Geoff Butler

Keynote Speaker and Seminar Facilitator at Business Optimizers

I have known Mark & Jeanette Jones from TRAC Consulting for the best part of a decade.

      Brendan Torazzi

      (CEO) - AlertForce Pty Ltd

I fully recommend Mark Jones – it is rare to see someone with who brings such enthusiasm and initiative to any project.

Mark’s thorough assessment of our business structures identified the need to redefine our vision and to establish a robust set of values to guide the future decision making and operational practices within the business. Subsequently we have revisited all aspects of employee engagement, established an organisational skills profile and capability framework to support the creation of new position descriptions and performance management tools with a view of supporting a culture of service excellence.

Mark’s engaging facilitation and communication style was the catalyst for buy-in from all employees and stakeholders. He challenged the status quo and guided us through the required change processes rather seamlessly. Key outputs of this work have enabled us to:

      • Identify the expertise and skills required to grow our business to the next level
      • Review and optimise our systems and processes
      • Create a workforce planning framework to ensure we are able to ‘match talent to task’
      • Design and implement strategies to improve both individual and team effectiveness

      (GM - Apprenticeships & Trades ) - CAG Group

Mark's diversified skills and broad experience across the training and education sector, embody the' true' industry professional.

His confidence is underpinned by years of engagement with community, business and government groups and his end to end understanding of workforce planning.

Mark’s leadership and mentoring skills produce great value for his stakeholders and enable growth targets and budget outcomes to be achieved by his teams.

A valued friend (no not relative), colleague, ally and mentor
